Internship / APEx Opportunities & Overview

Fall 2026

Overview

MOPHI offers students a unique, hands-on experience that connects them to the full scope of local public health through a wide variety of projects and initiatives currently underway at the institute. Student roles go beyond simple tasks, providing meaningful exposure to real-world public health practice and helping develop the skills needed to become part of the future public health workforce. Students are offered opportunities to explore and contribute to projects we are actively engaged in, bringing their own perspectives, ideas, and approaches to the work while receiving guidance and mentorship from MOPHI staff throughout the process.

We are seeking students to assist with a range of projects and activities across the organization. Students interested in governmental public health and/or nonprofit settings are strongly encouraged to apply. For more information about our organization, visit www.mophi.org.
