We’re proud to share that Sarah Crosley, MOPHI’s Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed to the Community Advisory Board (CAB) of Washington University’s Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences and the Institute for Public Health. This board plays a key role in shaping the future of health research and community engagement across the region—and now, Sarah brings her statewide perspective to the table.
The CAB is more than a sounding board. It’s a group of community leaders and advocates who elevate local voices, identify gaps in health services and research, and foster meaningful connections between academic institutions and the communities they serve. Members help ensure research and programs are rooted in equity, collaboration, and relevance.
Sarah shared, “I wanted to apply to serve on this board because I believe that research done right can be an effective tool to address a range of public health issues. I also welcome the opportunity to stay engaged in public health happening in my city and to identify ways to bring in my statewide perspective.”
Her three-year term begins this August and runs through June 2028. As a member, she’ll participate in bi-monthly meetings alongside fellow experts and community voices. We’re excited to see how Sarah’s leadership and commitment to health equity will help strengthen connections between local communities and statewide public health efforts.
Congratulations, Sarah—and thank you for continuing to represent MOPHI with thoughtfulness, integrity, and heart.
